Call for Abstracts

The Power and Energy Automation Conference Committee welcomes abstract submissions for the 2018  program! This year's theme is "Network Communications and Automation." Case studies, pilot projects, and lessons-learned presentations are especially encouraged. Abstracts should be no more than 300 words in length.

Abstract submissions for the Power and Energy Automation Conference (PEAC) will be accepted through September 15, 2017

Presenters may submit abstracts here. If selected, presenters will then be registered for the conference. Primary presenter registration is $330. Additional presenter registration follows the full conference attendee rate of $440 before February 5th, $550 after that date. No payment is required until after abstracts have been selected and presenters have been confirmed.

If unable to submit through the registration portal, presenters may also send their abstracts as an MS Word document to peac@wsu.edu with "PEAC 2018 ABSTRACT" in the subject line. If emailing your abstract, please also include your professional contact information (name, business address, phone #).

Paper Guidelines
  • Conference papers should be a minimum of 4 pages.
  • Use a page layout with 1-inch margins. Text should be single-spaced, in 12-pt font.
  • No overt commercial messages or product endorsements. The paper should contain information of technical significance as opposed to commercial significance.
  • The paper should emphasize the "why" or "how" more than the "what." Tell why or how a technique or process is applied to solve a problem.
  • If your submission is selected, papers are due no later than January 30, 2018. Presentations are due February 14, 2018. After this date, presenters may send updated slides in advance of the conference as needed.
